The Essentials Mexicano Solid Oak Veneer FD30 is a 44mm internal fire door with a traditional vertical groove design. It consists of a heavy engineered core covered by an oak veneer. The product is certified to provide up to 30 minutes of resistance against fire and smoke.
It is installed in hallways, kitchens, and commercial corridors to meet domestic and commercial fire safety regulations. The heavy internal core acts as a barrier to heat transfer, working with frame-fitted intumescent seals to block flames. This mass also provides acoustic dampening between rooms.
The door includes solid timber edges to allow precise trimming before hanging, provided all adjustments stay within the limits of the fire certification.
